Writing Updates: Penny for Your Thoughts – Soul Mates

Feels nice to write something other than poetry.

I am still cold. So very cold, the heat’s going but I just can’t seem to warm up. Maybe there’s something wrong with me?

I started playing Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass on Tuesday. I’m slowly getting through it. I must say I’m simply terrible with the stylus base for the game. I mean, I’m getting through it. I saved Leaf, the spirit of Power but I’m not as proficient at it as I’d like to be. It took me four tries to get through the stupid fog because I missed one of the loops on the route (as it’s terribly specific). I’m not a big fan of the art style, but, I am enjoying the game – little things aside, naturally. I think I’m going to go play some more.

Writing Updates: Peaceful – Dressed Up

Yesterday was cold and rainy. We spent all afternoon without electricity too. It didn’t come back on until almost nine last night. In fact, it wasn’t so bad except the heating system in the house relies on electricity. But otherwise, I’d say it really wasn’t so bad. I got a lot of reading done. I’m about 100 pages from finishing Dracula, finally.

But being as it is now the eighth, I am free. Classes are officially ended. I will try buying books around the fifteenth. This gives me a week to regenerate before setting on the task to get all situated. Going to go now. It’s cold.

Writing Updates: Secret – Dressed Up

Watching movies before bed has always been a terrible idea. I did it anyways because Cherri wanted too. The movie wasn’t all bad. Though I probably wouldn’t have watched it if she hadn’t insisted. We had a mini marathon: Wedding Singer, Wayne’s World, Hot Fuzz, Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion (which would have been better with Pengtwin since he’s far more Bleach savvy – so I could have bombarded him with questions during commercials).

Saw preview for the new Zelda DS game – kind of on the fence about it. I mean it IS Zelda. But I have never really been a fan of the art style. That’s a big seller for me. I have to enjoy the art since I’m going to be looking at it anyways. Speaking of which! I did get Phantom Hourglass (I got it used)! I haven’t played it but Pengtwin had mentioned a co-op mode or multiplayer mode at least. I need to check into that, but, it’s kind of hard since I don’t have the booklet (Cherri does though, I think).

I am officially free from classes tomorrow. It will be break time and I can finally play a new game! FINALLY. Writing is done. Let’s see what else do I need to do today? I don’t know. It’s Sunday. I’ll think of something, I’m sure.

Writing Updates: Puppet – Dressed Up

I’m feeling oddly today. It’s a weird mix of emotion that’s not all bad. I forgot that yesterday was Friday and thus forgot to post in the Database. I’ll make up for it next week. I found a chat program thingy I can use, so I can talk to people again. I hope to be online tonight, since I might have to do my group skit again. We’ll see.

Writing Updates: Reliance – Dressed Up

Going to practice our skit today. I was so scatter brained yesterday. Lack of sleep will do that to you. Today I’m not really much better. I got eight hours of sleep but I’m still a little tired (maybe I just haven’t woken up fully yet).

Oddly I found the listening and speaking part of the Japanese exam to be the easiest! I’m really happy about that. I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to do very well because I have a little difficulty with hearing. Got the skit worked on in such a way that between two of us we’re five minutes which is the long end of the requirement.

I don’t think you should ever have to apologize for being honest. And that’s the truth.
